Our social media reach has grown organically, resulting in quality conversations and genuine interactions. We particularly enjoy tweeting kernels of information from interesting foodie conferences and events we attend. During the Sustainable Foods Institute presented by the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Seafood Watch, the #CFSMBA hashtag created a digital space for many participants’ voices including ours and effectively amplified the volume and reach of these sharp insights. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest offer different methods to present and share our content.
We once tweeted the experience of walking through the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, concluding with a delicious lunch from a popular local taco truck.
